NEET 2023 Biology Important Topics:

In Biology, around 40-42 questions will be asked from class XI topics, and the remaining 48-50 questions will be asked from class XII topics. Some of the most important topics of biology for NEET 2023 include:

Plant and Human Physiology

Genetics

Biotechnology

Ecology and Environment

NEET 2023 Exam Strategy:

NEET is one of the toughest exams in the country. Therefore, robust preparation, revision, practice and effective exam strategy are imperative for students to score well in the NEET 2023 examination. Here we present some tips and exam strategies for NEET 2023 aspirants to help them avoid mistakes and perform better.

First of all, sleep early the night before the exam. Wake up early the following day, do some mild exercises and eat a light breakfast before the exam.

While attempting the exam, read the entire question carefully and underline the critical keywords like not, excluded, incorrect etc.

For numeral problems, use a step-by-step approach. First, gather all the data given in the question, identify the formula or equation to be used and then start solving the question.

For conceptual questions, all options seem correct in a few facets. Hence carefully read and understand the question. Then write down the concept and carefully read all the given options to find the correct answer.

Start by attempting the section and questions you feel most confident about. Leave the tough questions for last.

Keep an eye on the clock and do not waste much time on initial questions.

Regularly fill in your answers in the OMR sheet. Leaving your OMR for last may lead to panic and incorrect marking in a rush. Since you’ll get only one OMR sheet, check the question number first every time before marking and be extremely attentive.

Avoid the guesswork. Due to negative marking, guessing answers may actually reduce your overall score.

Re-check your answer sheet before submitting it. Spare the last 10-15 minutes to recheck your answers.

Since the NEET 2023 exam is just around the corner, candidates are advised to go through the chapter-wise weightage and important topics mentioned above and prepare accordingly. Also, it is recommended to practice as many sample papers as you can to formulate an effective exam strategy.
