<p>IIT Roorkee is one of the oldest engineering institutions in India. It was initially founded as ‘<strong>The Roorkee College</strong>’ in 1847 which was later renamed as ‘The Thomason College of Civil Engineering’ in 1854. At present, the institution is accredited by NAAC and is approved by AICTE and UGC. Converted in 2001, <strong>IIT Roorkee is the seventh IIT recognised as an Institution of National Importance</strong>.</p>
<p>The institution offers UG courses in more than 10 disciplines of Engineering and Architecture; PG in 55 disciplines of Engineering, Applied Science and Architecture and planning. Along with this, the university offers 134 online courses, 1 part time course and 96 full-time courses. All in all the institution has 22 academic departments covering Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities &amp; Social Sciences and Management programs with an emphasis on scientific and technological education and research.</p>

<h3><strong>Seat Matrix at IIT Roorkee:</strong></h3>
<p>In India, the allocation of the seats across the various engineering colleges, including IIT is facilitated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The <strong>JoSAA counsellings</strong> are generally conducted post the results of <strong>JEE Advanced</strong>.</p>
<p>Along with JOSAA, bodies like Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB), or the concerned State Government/Institute also conduct the counselling but after the declaration of result/ranks of JEE (Main)- 2023.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, aka IIT Delhi or IITD, is one of India’s most prestigious engineering institutes, attracting thousands of students every year. It is a public institution established in 1961 and, over the years, ranked among the <strong>top IITs in India</strong>. Since its inception, it has gained two prominent statuses – “The Institute of National Importance” in 1963 and “The Institution of Eminence (IoE)” in 2018.</p>
<p>The institute offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering, sciences, and management courses. However, getting into <strong>IIT Delhi</strong> is not easy, as the <strong>admission process</strong> is highly competitive, and candidates need to score high in the JEE Advanced and clear the cut-off. Therefore, the <strong>cut-off of IIT Delhi</strong> is a critical factor in determining whether a student can get admission into the institute. Here we’ll discuss the <strong>cut-off of IIT Delhi</strong>.</p>
<h3><b>JEE Advanced 2023 Cut-off for IIT Delhi:</b></h3>
<p>The <strong>JEE Advanced 2023 cut-off for IIT Delhi</strong> will be announced soon by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Cut-off is the required score for admission to the institute’s B.E./ B.Tech programmes. Authorities will release a separate JEE Advanced 2023 cut-off for each course and category of candidates.</p>
<p>JoSAA will release the <strong>JEE Advanced cut-off for IIT Delhi</strong> in online mode only. The cut-off includes opening and closing ranks required in JEE Advanced for admission to IIT Delhi. Students who secured admission by scoring the <strong>minimum required marks in JEE Advanced</strong> and clearing the cut-off will get their names in merit lists and participate in JoSAA counselling. The higher the ranking in the merit list, the higher the student’s chances of admission.</p>
<h3><b>Factors Determining Cut-off:</b></h3>
<p>The cut-off varies every year and depends on several factors, which may include:</p>

<li aria-level="1">Total number of available seats</li>
<li aria-level="1">JEE Advanced exam’s difficulty level</li>
<li aria-level="1">Total candidates appeared for the exam</li>
