JoSAA Counselling 2023 to Start from June 19 | Check Complete Schedule

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has announced the counselling schedule for the academic session 2023-24. In the official bulletin released on Jun 7, 2023, JoSAA stated that the seat allocation would be commencing from June 19 onwards.

However, as per the bulletin, the authorities will be releasing the JoSAA counselling 2023 seat allotment result for round 1 on June 30. The round 2 seat allotment result will likely be released on July 6. The eligible applicants can complete the JoSAA 2023 counselling registration from July 6 to 10.

This year 114 institutes, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, CFTIs, etc., will be participating in JoSAA counselling 2023. The number of participating institutes are:

Qualifying in the examinations mentioned above does not guarantee admission to any of the institutes. Each institute / academic program may have additional eligibility requirements. Candidates have to meet all the eligibility requirements to obtain admission.

How To Register for JoSAA Counselling 2023?

Steps to complete JoSAA counselling 2023 registration

Step 1: Visit the JoSAA official website – www.josaa.nic.in.

Step 2: Click on the direct link to complete the JoSAA registration.

Step 3: Enter all the details in the required fields.

Step 4: Complete the JoSAA 2023 choice filling.

Step 5: Review and lock all the choices filled in the JoSAA registration form.

Step 6: Complete the application by successfully completing the payment.

Remember to take the printout of the application form for future reference.

JEE Main 2023 Counselling: List of Required Documents

Certificate to prove date of birth
JEE Main seat allotment letter issued by JoSAA
Three passport-size photographs (same as uploaded during registration)

The candidates may please note that JoSAA is the single window for admission to IITs, but in the case of NITs and other institutions, there is another counselling process held by Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) for leftover seats. JoSAA seat allocation will be done in six rounds. Post this, the CSAB will conduct two special rounds for the remaining students.

Last week, IIT Guwahati reported attendance of 95 per cent as 180,226 candidates appeared for both papers of JEE Advanced 2023. The JEE Advanced 2023 results of the same are expected to be released on 18th June 2023, after which the JoSAA counselling 2023.
