The <strong>exam is scheduled</strong> to be conducted on <strong>7th May 2023</strong> in 499 cities throughout the country and 14 cities outside India.</p>
<p>Over 20.87 Lakh students are expected to appear for the <strong>NEET (UG) exam</strong> aiming for admission in various medical institutions in India.</p>
<h3><b>How to Download NEET <strong>(UG)</strong> 2023 Admit Card?</b></h3>
<p>To download the <strong>NEET (UG) Admit Card 2023</strong>, students need to follow these simple steps:</p>

<li aria-level="1">The students are advised to report at least an hour prior to the scheduled time to avoid the last-minute rush.</li>
<li aria-level="1">The students are required to produce the Admit Card at the time of entry to the exam hall.</li>
<li aria-level="1">In the absence of the admit card, the students will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.</li>
<li aria-level="1">The student must ensure that their seat has the same roll number as mentioned in their admit card.</li>
<li aria-level="1">No other item, other than what is mentioned above, is to be carried by the student.</li>
<li aria-level="1">Carrying any of the barred items for potential use as an unfair means is strictly prohibited.</li>
<li aria-level="1">The students can only leave his/her seat or the Examination Room/hall after the test concludes.</li>
<li aria-level="1">The students can not leave the examination hall without handing over their OMR sheets to the invigilator.</li>
</ul>
<h4><b>Barred Items &amp; Dress Code</b></h4>
<h5><b>Barred Items: </b></h5>
<p>Any item like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic, Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.; any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.; any ornaments/metallic items any food items opened or packed, water bottle, etc.;  and any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc. are strictly prohibited.</p>
<h5><b>Dress Code:</b></h5>
<p>NTA instructs the students to <strong>wear Light colour clothes</strong> with short sleeves, <strong>along with slippers and sandals</strong> with low heels (no closed footwear like shoes are allowed) are permitted.</p>

<p><b>Important Note:</b></p>
<ul class="mb-3">
<li aria-level="1">No student will be allowed to appear at the <strong>Examination Centre</strong> on the Date and Timing other than that allotted to him/her in his/her Admit Card.</li>
<li aria-level="1">In case a student is unable to download his/her <strong>Admit Cards from the website</strong>, he or she may approach the Help Line between 10:00 am to 05.00 pm or write an email to NTA at <strong><a href="mailto:neet@nta.ac.in">neet@nta.ac.in</a></strong>.</li>
<li aria-level="1">The students are advised to <strong>read the instructions</strong> given in this Information Bulletin as well as <strong>on the Admit Card</strong> carefully and follow them scrupulously during the conduct of the examination.</li>
<li aria-level="1">In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the student or his/her photograph and signatures shown on the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the student may immediately approach the Help Line between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. In such cases, students would appear in the Examination with the already <strong>downloaded Admit Card</strong>. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.</li>
<li aria-level="1">The students may note that Admit Card will not be sent by post.</li>
<li aria-level="1">The students must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.</li>
<li aria-level="1">Students are advised to preserve their Admit Card in good condition for future reference.</li>
<li aria-level="1"><strong>Issue of Admit Card</strong>, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of the admission process.</li>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>With just a week remaining for <strong>NEET UG 2023</strong>, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an official notification announcing the allotment slips for the city of examination.</p>
<p>Urging the students, NTA has released the notification dated <strong>30th April 2023</strong>, advising them to <i>“check/download their <strong>Examination City Intimation slip of NEET (UG) – 2023</strong> (using their application No. and Date of Birth) from the website w.e.f. 30 April 2023 and go through the instructions contained therein as well as in the Information Bulletin.”</i></p>
<p>As earlier mentioned in the Information Bulletin, the NEET UG 2023 is to be conducted in 499 cities throughout the country and 14 cities outside India on 07 May 2023 (Sunday) from 02:00 P.M. to 05:20 P.M (IST) in an offline mode.</p>
<p>The medical entrance exam grabbed eyeballs earlier in the past month for receiving an all-time record high registration of 20.87 Lakh candidates, including 12 lakh female candidates, as per the PTI reports. The reports suggested that in comparison to last year, over 2.57 lakh students had registered to appear for NEET UG 2023. Even the gender gap breached the 2 Lakh mark with 11.8 Lakh female students registering for the exam, which is 2,8 Lakh more than the last year’s statistics.</p>
<p>The notice further emphasised that the<strong> Examination City Intimation slip</strong> is NOT the Admit Card for NEET (UG) – 2023. It is instead advance information for the allotment of the city where the exam centre will be located. The students are advised to check their Examination City Intimation Slip and make the required travel arrangements if required to avoid the last-minute rush.</p>
<h3><b>How to Download the NEET-UG 2023 Examination City Slip?</b></h3>
<p>To download their Examination City Intimation slip, the students are required to log in to their student portal using their application number and date of birth on the official website of NTA NEET.</p>

<li aria-level="1">Visit the NTA/NEET website <strong><a href="https://neet.nta.nic.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">neet.nta.nic.in</a></strong> to download the <strong>NEET-UG Examination 2023 city allotment slips</strong>.</li>
<li aria-level="1">Click on the link ‘<strong>Advance Intimation of Exam City for NEET-UG 2023</strong>’.</li>
<li aria-level="1">Enter the application no. and date of birth to access the Examination city slip for NEET-UG 2023.</li>
<li aria-level="1">Download the exam city slip.</li>
</ul>
<p>Students may please be aware, that following the release of the Examination City Intimation slip, NTA is likely to release NEET UG 2023 Admit cards in the coming few days.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>NTA has conducted the registrations for <strong>NEET-UG 2023</strong> from <strong>6th March 2023 to 6th April 2023</strong>. Following that, NTA opened the correction facility for all the registered candidates on 8th April 2023. All the registered candidates must visit the official website <strong><a href="https://neet.nta.nic.in/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">https://neet.nta.nic.in/</a></strong>, log into their account and verify the particulars. Then, if required, they should correct the details in their respective Application Form. The <strong>correction window is open only till 10th April 2023</strong> (up to 11:50 P.M. IST). After that, NTA will not entertain any <strong>correction</strong>.</p>
<p>This is the final opportunity for candidates to edit/modify their particulars in the Online Application Form of <strong>NEET-UG 2023</strong>. The schedule is as given below:</p>

<p>All the registered candidates must visit the website and verify their particulars and are advised to make correction/s in their particulars, in their respective Application Forms, if required.</p>
<p>The additional fee (wherever applicable) shall be paid by the candidate through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI.</p>
<p>Since it is a one-time facility extended to the candidates to avoid any hardships to them, the candidates are informed to do the correction very carefully, as no further chance for correction will be given to the candidates.</p>
<p>Please note that the final correction shall apply only after an additional fee is paid if required.</p>
<p>In case of a change in Gender, Category, or PwD, if there is an impact on the fee amount, then the Candidate will be charged an excess fee as applicable. Extra payments made will not be refunded, if any.</p>

<p>NTA is going to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2023 on <b>07 May 2023 (Sunday)</b> from <b>02:00 PM to 05:20 PM</b> <b>IST</b> as a common and uniform entrance Test throughout India as well as cities outside India in about 499 cities, including Aspirational districts in <b>Pen &amp; Paper mode (offline)</b>.</p>
