The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally released the admit cards for NEET (UG) 2023. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on 7th May 2023 in 499 cities throughout the country and 14 cities outside India.

Over 20.87 Lakh students are expected to appear for the NEET (UG) exam aiming for admission in various medical institutions in India.

How to Download NEET (UG) 2023 Admit Card?

To download the NEET (UG) Admit Card 2023, students need to follow these simple steps:

  • Go to the official website of NTA NEET (https://neet.nta.nic.in/)
  • Click on the link for “Download NEET (UG) Admit Card 2023
  • Enter your NEET (UG) application number, date of birth, and security pin
  • Click on the “Submit” button
  • Your NEET (UG) Admit Card 2023 will be displayed on the screen
  • Verify all the details mentioned on the admit card and download it
  • Take a printout of the admit card.

  • The students are advised to report at least an hour prior to the scheduled time to avoid the last-minute rush.
  • The students are required to produce the Admit Card at the time of entry to the exam hall.
  • In the absence of the admit card, the students will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
  • The student must ensure that their seat has the same roll number as mentioned in their admit card.
  • No other item, other than what is mentioned above, is to be carried by the student.
  • Carrying any of the barred items for potential use as an unfair means is strictly prohibited.
  • The students can only leave his/her seat or the Examination Room/hall after the test concludes.
  • The students can not leave the examination hall without handing over their OMR sheets to the invigilator.

Barred Items & Dress Code

Barred Items: 

Any item like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic, Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.; any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.; any ornaments/metallic items any food items opened or packed, water bottle, etc.;  and any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc. are strictly prohibited.

Dress Code:

NTA instructs the students to wear Light colour clothes with short sleeves, along with slippers and sandals with low heels (no closed footwear like shoes are allowed) are permitted.

Important Note:

  • No student will be allowed to appear at the Examination Centre on the Date and Timing other than that allotted to him/her in his/her Admit Card.
  • In case a student is unable to download his/her Admit Cards from the website, he or she may approach the Help Line between 10:00 am to 05.00 pm or write an email to NTA at neet@nta.ac.in.
  • The students are advised to read the instructions given in this Information Bulletin as well as on the Admit Card carefully and follow them scrupulously during the conduct of the examination.
  • In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the student or his/her photograph and signatures shown on the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the student may immediately approach the Help Line between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. In such cases, students would appear in the Examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.
  • The students may note that Admit Card will not be sent by post.
  • The students must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.
  • Students are advised to preserve their Admit Card in good condition for future reference.
  • Issue of Admit Card, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of the admission process.
