CBSE Class 7: Subjects

The exam pattern, syllabus and subjects are usually governed by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). The CBSE Board follows NCERT textbooks. CBSE Class 7 curriculum includes the following subjects:

Note:There are some changes in the Indian education world due to NEP (New Education Policy) that students should keep in mind:

CBSE Class 7 Study Plan to Maximise Score in 2024-25 Exams

Students can refer to the below-given tips to get good marks in CBSE Class 7 Exam 2025:
  • Plan the layout of your day. Make a list of things you need to do on an urgent basis and things that can be done later and work accordingly.
  • Maintain separate notebooks for all the subjects and update them regularly. Make sure you get them checked by the subject teacher so that if there are errors, they can be rectified on time.
  • Rest for a while when you come home after school and do your homework. Taking power naps is very important for your mind and body.
  • Also, take part in various co-curricular activities. These will increase your brain power and keep your mind active. It will also be helpful for your studies.
  • Find the best time to pursue your studies and study only in the slot of your choice. Set daily goals for the things you are going to study that day.

All the students of class 7 have to take the school-level exam to get promoted to the next class. After that, students get promoted to class 8 based on Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE).
