How to Download JEE Main Answer Key?

The JEE Main Answer Key is released on the official NTA website for each shift and session of the examination. To access the answer key, candidates need to log in to the website using their application number, password, and security pin. The answer key is available for download in PDF format as well.

Follow the steps given below to download the JEE Main Answer Key:

• Go to the official website of JEE Main: https://jeemain.nta.nic.in/
• Enter your application number, password, and security pin.
• Click on "Log In".
• Set-wise answer keys will be displayed on the screen.
• Download the answer key that corresponds with your JEE Main question paper set.

How to Challenge JEE Main Provisional Answer Key?

The NTA provides candidates with a window of opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key if they believe that a response in the key is incorrect. Here’s how to raise an objection:

• Visit the Official NTA JEE Main Website: Login to your JEE Main account on the official website.
• Raise Objections: Look for the option to challenge the provisional answer key. Click on it.
• Select Questions: Choose the questions you wish to challenge due to suspected errors in the answer key.
• Provide Justifications: For each question you challenge, provide a detailed justification or explanation for your objection.
• Payment of Fees: Please note that a nominal fee is generally associated with challenging each question. Ensure you pay the fee for the questions you wish to challenge. The processing fee is INR 200 for each question that the candidate is challenging. For example, if you are challenging two questions, you must pay INR 400.
• Submission: After completing the objection process, submit your challenges.

Important Instructions:

• Challenges must be submitted within the specified window as outlined by the NTA.
• The fee for challenging each question is typically non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the challenge.
• The NTA reviews all challenges; if a challenge is valid, the answer key is updated accordingly.
• The final answer key, released after reviewing all challenges, calculates candidates’ JEE Main scores.
