CBSE Class 10th & 12th 2023 Update: Exam Dates Announced

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally released the much-anticipated date sheet for Class 10th & 12th Board Exams 2023, on its official website www.cbse.gov.in. As per the official notification, the CBSE Class 10th board exams 2023 will take place between 15 February 2023 and 21 March 2023. Similarly, CBSE Class 12th board exams 2023 will commence from 15 February 2023 and conclude on 5 April 2023.

The examination will be held offline (pen-paper-based) at respective exam centres allotted by the board.

As per the circular while preparing the date sheet, CBSE has considered the following issues:

Sufficient Gap has been given in between two subjects generally offered by a student in both the classes.
Competitive examinations, including JEE Main, have been taken care of while preparing the date sheet for Class XII.
These date sheets have been prepared by avoiding nearly 40,000 subjects’ combinations to ensure that no two subjects’ examinations of a student fall on the same date.
The examination will be started at 10:30 AM (IST).
Date-sheet is issued much in advance so that students can prepare well for their examinations.

Important Instructions to be followed by the candidates during the examination:

Candidates will strictly follow all the instructions issued by CBSE from time to time.
Parents will also visit Board’s website and remain in touch with the school of their ward so that they are aware of the latest updates by the CBSE and the school so that they can guide their ward.
No communication devices are allowed in the Examination Centre.
Candidates will maintain strict discipline in the Examination Centre.
Candidates will follow all instructions given on the Admit Card.
Duration for each examination will be given in the date sheet and Admit Card.
15 minutes of reading time will be allotted to the students to read the question paper.
