]]> JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Paper Analysis: The JEE Main Exam for the 2024 Session 1 was conducted from 27th January to 1st February in Computer-based Test mode (CBT) across various cities worldwide. This year, the exam took place in 291 cities in India and 21 cities outside India. After the completion of the exam, the NTA will release the JEE Main Session 1 Provisional Answer Key and the candidate’s response sheet, which will help the students calculate their marks. The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 paper analysis and difficulty level of each paper have been provided below for the reference of the JEE Main 2024 candidates. JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Paper Analysis:

1. Mathematics: 

Math paper was more on the moderate. Topics like Sequence & Series, Co-ordinate Geometry (straight line, conic section, circle), Binomial Theorem, Function & Inverse Trigonometric Functions, Limit, Continuity & Differentiation, Indefinite & Definite Integration, Vector-3D, Probability have high weightage. At the same time, Trigonometric Equations, Determinants, and Quadratic Equations have a lower weightage. Class-wise, topics from both classes 11 & 12 have equal weightage. 2. Physics:

The Physics paper was of moderate level for all the shifts. Questions were asked from all the chapters that are covered in the syllabus. As expected, current electricity, EMI, EM Waves, unit & dimensions, and NLM have higher weightage. Class-wise, the class 12 topics’ weight is higher than the class 11 topics’ weight. Overall, the paper was well structured, containing all questions (easy & difficult). This time, in all the shifts, the paper was easy to moderate in difficulty level and contained fact-based questions from NCERT to check the students’ knowledge.

The organic chemistry paper was mostly NCERT-based. The weightage for organic chemistry in every shift was higher than for physical and inorganic chemistry. Questions were asked from aromatic compounds, GOC, Amines, Aldehydes & Ketones, Biomolecules, Phenol & Ethers, Aryl & Alkyl Halides mixed concept questions. A slight change has been seen this time in the inorganic chemistry, very few questions from coordination compounds, metallurgy, p-block elements were asked in the exam. ]]> The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the provisional Answer Key & Response Sheet for JEE Main 2024 (Session-1) on 6 February.  The JEE Main 2024 Session 1 exam was conducted between 24 January to 1 February 2024 at 544 Centres located in 291 Cities across the Country (including 21 Cities outside India). With this, the candidates have the opportunity to review their responses and evaluate their performance in the examination. 

The Provisional Answer Keys of Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.), Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and Paper 2B (B. Planning), along with the Question Papers with Recorded Responses, have been uploaded on the official website. The last day to challenge the answer key is 08 February 2024, and all challenges must be submitted by 11:00 PM.

Note: Challenges will not be accepted after 11:00 PM on 8 February 2024.

How to Download the Provisional Answer Key & Response Sheet for JEE Main 2024 (Session-1):

Here are the steps to download the provisional answer key for JEE Main 2024 (Session-1):

  1. Visit the Official NTA JEE Main Website: Access the official NTA JEE Main website by going to (www.jeemain.nta.ac.in).

]]> The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 (January) Exam City Intimation Slip for candidates appearing for the BE-B.Tech exam, previously the advance intimation city slip was released for the students who applied for B.Arch/B.Planning. This slip contains all the necessary details about the allotted examination city where the exam will be conducted. Candidates can download the slip from the official NTA website at jeemain.nta.ac.in. It is important to note that the slip only contains information about the city. After releasing the exam city intimation slip, NTA is expected to release the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Admit Card soon.

According to the previous schedule, the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 exam was to be held between 24 January to 1 February 2024. According to the new notice, the B.Arch/B. Planning exam will take place on 24 January, and after this, BE-B.Tech examinations will be held on 27, 29, 30, 31 January and 1 February. There will be no JEE-Main 2024 exam on January 25, 26 and 28.

Registered candidates must check/download their Examination City Intimation slip of JEE Main 2024 Session 1 using their Application No. and Date of Birth from the official website and go through the instructions.

However, the Candidates should note that this is NOT the Admit Card for JEE Main 2024 Session 1. It contains advance information for the allotment of the City where the Examination Centre will be located to facilitate the candidates. The Admit Card of JEE Main 2024 Session 1 shall be issued later

How to download the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Exam City Intimation Slip?

All the registered candidates are required to download the advanced Exam City Intimation Slip. To download it, follow the given steps:

  • Step 1: Visit the official website https://jeemain.nta.ac.in
  • Step 2: On the home page, click on the intimation slip link.
  • Step 3: On the login screen, enter your Application Number, Date of Birth and given security pin and submit.
  • Step 4: The Exam City Intimation Slip will appear on the screen. Download it and take a printout for future reference.
