Steps to Download CBSE Class 10 Marksheet

Follow these simple steps to check your result:

Alternative Ways to Check CBSE Result 2026

Visit: cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in

Use the 6-digit access code provided by your school

Login and check your documents

APAAR ID Advantage

If your APAAR ID is linked, your marksheet will automatically appear under “Issued Documents”.

2. UMANG App

Available on Android and iOS

Search for CBSE services

Enter your credentials to check your result

3. SMS Service

Students can also receive results via SMS:

Type: CBSE10 <RollNo> <SchoolNo> <AdmitCardID>

This is a great opportunity to improve performance without waiting a full year.

Original Marksheet & Certificates

The online result is provisional

Students must collect their original marksheet from their school

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important notification dated 18 March 2026 regarding the assessment scheme for Class 10 students in the Middle East.

Earlier, CBSE had cancelled the remaining Class 10 board examinations in countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iran due to the ongoing situation in the region. At that time, the board had informed that the result calculation method would be announced separately.

Now, CBSE has officially shared how Class 10 results will be prepared for students in these affected regions.

CBSE Exam Cancellation Information:

CBSE had conducted examinations successfully between 17 February 2026 and 28 February 2026. During this period, students appeared for several important subjects, including:

Mathematics

Science

English

Languages

Skill-based subjects

However, due to safety concerns, the remaining exams scheduled after early March were cancelled. This created the need for a fair and transparent evaluation system for students who could not complete all their papers.

CBSE Class 10 Result 2026: Assessment Categories

CBSE has divided students into different categories based on the number of exams they were able to attend before cancellation.

Students Who Appeared in All Examinations

Students who completed all their exams will have their results calculated normally. Their marks will be based entirely on their actual performance in the board examinations.

Students Who Appeared in 4 Examinations

For students who appeared in four subjects, CBSE will calculate their result using:

The average marks of the best three subjects

This average will be applied to subjects whose exams were not conducted

This ensures fairness while maintaining academic consistency.

Students Who Appeared in 3 Examinations

Students who appeared in three subjects will have their results prepared using:

The average of the best two subjects

The calculated average will be used for remaining subjects

This method helps maintain balance in evaluation despite fewer completed exams.

Students Who Appeared in 2 Examinations

A small number of students appeared in only two subjects. For these students:

The average of the two subjects’ marks will be used

This average will be applied to all remaining subjects

Private / Compartment Students

Students who registered under the compartment category (2025 or earlier) will be evaluated as follows:

If they appeared in one or two exams → Result based on actual performance

If any subject exam was missed → They will get an opportunity to appear in the second board examination

Students Who Changed Exam Centre

Some students shifted their exam centres to countries outside the affected region. For such students:

Results will be declared based on their actual exam performance

Important Points About CBSE Class 10 Result 2026

CBSE has also issued several important instructions regarding result declaration:

Result Declaration Timeline

Results for Middle East students will be declared along with all other CBSE students.

Internal Assessment Will Be Included

Internal assessment marks (already submitted by schools) will be included in the final result.

Since internal assessment is conducted throughout the year, no changes will be made.

Improvement Opportunity Available

Students will be allowed to improve their performance through the second board examination, as per CBSE policy.

No Special Exams

CBSE has clearly stated that no special examination will be conducted outside its official policy.

Final Decision by CBSE

The assessment scheme prepared by CBSE will be final and binding.

Any additional decision, if required, will be taken by the board.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important circular on 15 March 2026 regarding the Class 12 Board Examinations for students studying in the Middle East. The decision comes after continuous review of the security situation and multiple requests from schools and local authorities in the affected countries.

According to the latest CBSE circular, the board has decided to cancel all remaining Class XII board examinations for students appearing from certain Middle Eastern countries. This decision follows several earlier circulars issued on 1 March, 3 March, 5 March, 7 March, and 9 March 2026, which had previously postponed some examinations.

The new announcement brings clarity for thousands of students studying in CBSE-affiliated schools across the Gulf region.

Class 12 Board Exams Cancelled from 16 March to 10 April 2026:

CBSE has officially confirmed that all Class 12 board examinations scheduled between 16 March 2026 and 10 April 2026 will not be conducted for students appearing from the affected Middle Eastern countries.

This means that students who were preparing for their upcoming Class 12 board papers during this period will no longer need to appear for those examinations.

The decision was taken after evaluating the feasibility of conducting examinations in the region and prioritizing the safety and well-being of students.

Previously Postponed Exams Also Cancelled:

CBSE had earlier postponed several board examinations in the Middle East through circulars issued earlier in March 2026. These exams were initially delayed due to the evolving situation in the region.

With the latest circular dated 15 March 2026, the board has now clarified that all those postponed examinations are also cancelled.

This applies to all exams that were previously rescheduled or under review.

Students and schools no longer need to wait for revised dates for these postponed papers.

CBSE Circular 6 [15 March 2026] Official:

CBSE Decision for Countries:

The cancellation applies to CBSE-affiliated schools located in the following seven Middle Eastern countries:

Bahrain

Iran

Kuwait

Oman

Qatar

Saudi Arabia

United Arab Emirates (UAE)

These countries host a large number of Indian students studying in CBSE curriculum schools.

Students from cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Muscat, Riyadh, and Kuwait City are directly affected by this decision.

How Will Class 12 Results Be Declared?

CBSE has clarified that the method for declaring Class 12 results for these students will be announced separately.

The board is currently working on an evaluation process that ensures fairness and transparency for students who could not complete their board examinations.

The result declaration policy will be communicated through a separate official notification once finalized.

Students and schools are advised to wait for the next CBSE announcement regarding the evaluation method.

Coordination with Indian Diplomatic Authorities

The circular also confirms that the decision was taken after consultation with Indian diplomatic authorities in the affected countries.

This includes coordination with:

Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi)

Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia (Riyadh)

Ambassador of India to Oman (Muscat)

Ambassador of India to Qatar

Ambassador of India to Bahrain

Ambassador of India to Kuwait

Ambassador of India to Iran (Tehran)

Consulate General of India in Dubai

The involvement of these authorities ensured that the decision prioritizes the safety of Indian students studying abroad.

Advice for Students and Parents:

Students and parents should remain calm and wait for further updates regarding the evaluation method and result declaration process.

In the meantime, they should:

Stay connected with their school administration

Follow updates on the official CBSE website

In recent days, a message circulating on social media has created confusion among CBSE students studying in the Middle East. The message claims that certain CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled for today have been rescheduled, and it appears in the form of a circular allegedly issued by CBSE.

However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially clarified that this circular is fake and has not been issued by the board. Students, parents, and schools have been advised not to believe or share such unverified messages.

This article explains the truth behind the viral circular, CBSE’s official response, and what students should do to stay updated with accurate information.

Viral Circular Information Claimed:

The circular that went viral on messaging platforms and social media claimed that certain CBSE board examinations scheduled in Middle Eastern countries had been rescheduled.

According to the viral message:

Exams for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 were supposedly moved to new dates.

The changes were said to apply to several Gulf countries.

The notice appeared to be issued by the CBSE Controller of Examinations.

The message spread quickly across platforms such as WhatsApp, Twitter, and other social media channels, leading many students and parents to believe that the exam schedule had changed.

CBSE Clarifications on the viral Circular:

CBSE has officially confirmed that the circular being shared online is not genuine.

The board clarified that:

No such notice has been issued regarding rescheduling of exams on the mentioned date.

The circular circulating online is fake and misleading.

Students and parents should rely only on official CBSE announcements.

CBSE also shared the clarification through its official communication channels and verified social media accounts, urging the public to avoid spreading misinformation.

Confusion among the Students/Parents:

The confusion partly arose because some CBSE board exams in the Middle East have actually been postponed earlier due to security concerns in the region.

Recent developments in the Middle East have affected examination schedules in several countries. As a precautionary measure, CBSE had already:

Postponed certain Class 10 and Class 12 exams in the region.

Cancelled some Class 10 papers in specific circumstances.

These official changes led to speculation online, which may have contributed to the spread of the fake circular.

CBSE has confirmed that revised exam dates for postponed papers will be announced later through official notifications.

Countries Where CBSE Exams Were Affected

The earlier official exam changes applied to CBSE-affiliated schools in several Middle Eastern countries, including:

Iran

Kuwait

Oman

Qatar

Saudi Arabia

United Arab Emirates (UAE)

These countries have a large number of Indian students studying in CBSE schools.

Students in cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, and Riyadh should follow official updates from their schools and the CBSE website.

CBSE’s Advice to Students and Parents:

CBSE has strongly advised students and parents to avoid relying on information shared through unofficial sources.

To stay informed, students should:

Check the Official CBSE Website

All official announcements regarding board exams are published on the CBSE official website. Students should check the website regularly for accurate updates.

Follow Verified CBSE Social Media Accounts

CBSE also shares important updates through its verified social media handles, which can help students stay informed quickly.

Stay Connected with School Authorities

School principals and examination coordinators receive official CBSE communications. Students should remain in contact with their schools for any important announcements.

Avoid Spreading Unverified Information

Sharing unverified messages on social media can create unnecessary confusion and anxiety among students preparing for their exams.

Students and parents are encouraged to:

Verify information before sharing

Ignore unofficial circulars

Trust only official announcements

Students and parents should remain calm, continue their preparation, and rely only on verified sources for exam-related updates.

Countries for which the Decision applied:

These countries host a large number of CBSE schools catering to Indian students studying abroad.

Cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Muscat, Riyadh, and Kuwait City have many CBSE examination centres where students appear for board exams every year.

Local authorities and schools

The priority behind this decision is to ensure that students can appear for their exams in a safe and stable environment.

What Class 10 Students Should Expect Next:

Since the Class 10 board exams have been cancelled in the affected regions, CBSE will soon announce how students will be evaluated.

Internal assessments conducted by schools

Practical and project marks

Periodic test performance

Pre-board exam performance

However, the final evaluation method will be officially confirmed by CBSE in a separate circular.

Students should stay in contact with their schools for further guidance.

What Class 12 Students Should Do Now

For Class 12 students, exams are only postponed and not cancelled, which means they will still be required to appear for the remaining subjects.

Students should therefore:

Continue Their Preparation:

This unexpected break can be used to:

Revise important topics

Practice previous year question papers

Strengthen weak chapters

Focus on NCERT concepts

Using this time effectively can improve exam performance.

Their school administration

Official notifications issued by CBSE

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued another important update regarding the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams 2026 for students studying in the Middle East. Due to the ongoing security situation in the region, the Board has decided to postpone additional examinations that were scheduled later this week.

CBSE has clarified that student safety remains the highest priority, and all decisions are being taken after carefully reviewing the situation in coordination with Indian diplomatic authorities in the affected countries.

This article explains the latest CBSE announcement, affected exam dates, impacted countries, and what students should do next.

CBSE Extends Postponement of Board Exams in the Middle East:

Earlier this week, CBSE had already postponed exams scheduled on March 2, 2026 in several Middle Eastern countries. After conducting another critical review of the situation, the Board has now decided to extend the postponement for additional examination dates.

The decision has been taken after monitoring the evolving security conditions and consulting with Indian diplomatic missions in the region.

Students appearing for CBSE board exams in the Gulf countries should carefully follow the official updates issued by the board.

Which CBSE Exams Are Postponed?

According to the latest CBSE circular, all Class 10 and Class 12 examinations scheduled on the following dates have been postponed in the affected regions:

Thursday, March 5, 2026

Friday, March 6, 2026

This postponement applies to all CBSE-affiliated schools located in the affected Middle Eastern countries.

Students who were scheduled to appear for board exams on these dates will be informed about revised exam dates later.

CBSE has clearly stated that the exams are postponed and not cancelled, and students should continue their preparation.

Countries Where CBSE Exams are Postponed:

The postponement applies specifically to CBSE examination centres in the following seven countries in the Middle East:

Bahrain

Iran

Kuwait

Oman

Qatar

Saudi Arabia

United Arab Emirates (UAE)

These countries host a large number of CBSE-affiliated schools for Indian students studying abroad, especially in cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, and Riyadh.

Students and parents in these regions should stay connected with their respective schools for further updates.

When Will the Postponed Exams Be Conducted?

At present, CBSE has not announced the revised exam dates for the postponed papers.

The board has clarified that:

New exam dates will be announced only after the situation becomes stable.

The revised schedule will be shared through official CBSE notifications.

Schools will also inform students once the updated timetable is released.

Students are advised to regularly check the official CBSE website and follow instructions from their school authorities.

What Happens After March 6, 2026?

CBSE has confirmed that it is continuously reviewing the situation in the Middle East.

A high-level review meeting is scheduled for March 5, 2026, where the board will evaluate the current conditions and decide the next steps.

Based on this review, CBSE will decide whether:

Exams scheduled from March 7 onwards will proceed as per the original schedule, or

Additional postponements are required.

Students should therefore stay prepared for their upcoming exams until an official decision is announced.

Coordination with Indian Embassies and Consulates:

CBSE has stated that this decision has been taken in coordination with:

Indian Ambassadors in the affected Middle Eastern countries

Consul General of India in Dubai

This coordination ensures that the safety and well-being of Indian students studying abroad remain the top priority.

The board is closely monitoring developments and will issue further instructions if required.

Important Advice for Students and Parents:

The postponement of exams may cause uncertainty for students preparing for board exams. However, students are advised to remain calm and use this time productively.

The situation in the Middle East remains sensitive due to the ongoing regional conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States. Keeping student safety as the highest priority, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is closely monitoring the situation and taking necessary steps to ensure the well-being of students appearing for the CBSE Board Exams 2026.

As of March 2, 2026, CBSE has released important updates regarding the postponement of examinations in several Middle Eastern countries. Students and parents are advised to stay informed through official sources and avoid misinformation circulating online.

This article explains the latest official updates, affected countries, review schedule, and important instructions for students.

CBSE Board Exams Postponed on March 2, 2026

CBSE has officially postponed the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026, at all CBSE examination centres across several Middle Eastern countries.

The decision has been taken due to safety concerns and the evolving security situation in the region.

Countries Where Exams Are Postponed

The postponement applies to CBSE exam centres in the following seven countries:

United Arab Emirates (UAE) — including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah

Saudi Arabia

Qatar

Kuwait

Oman

Bahrain

Iran

Students scheduled to appear for exams on March 2 at these centres will receive revised dates later.

CBSE has clarified that this is a temporary postponement, not cancellation.

CBSE Review Meeting Scheduled on March 3, 2026

CBSE has scheduled a high-level review meeting on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, to assess the ground situation and determine the next course of action.

Key Decisions Expected

After the review, CBSE will decide:

1. Status of Exams from March 5 Onwards

The board will evaluate whether upcoming exams should continue as per the original schedule or if further changes are required depending on the security situation.

2. New Dates for Postponed Exams

Revised dates for exams postponed on March 2 will be announced only after the situation becomes stable and safe for students.

Students should regularly check official announcements for updates.

CBSE Official Announcement:

Important Clarifications Issued by CBSE

To prevent confusion, CBSE has released several clarifications regarding misinformation and exam status.

Remote Learning in Gulf Schools:

Many schools in the UAE and Qatar have temporarily shifted to online or remote learning until Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

However, CBSE has clarified that:

This shift affects regular school classes only.

With just two days left for the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry 2026 exam, students should focus on smart revision rather than trying to learn new topics. This final phase of preparation is about strengthening concepts, revising important reactions and formulas, and improving confidence.

Many students complete the syllabus but lose marks due to weak revision planning or exam stress. A structured last-minute strategy can help improve accuracy, speed, and answer presentation.

This guide explains a practical 2-day revision plan, subject-wise strategies, and exam tips to help you score maximum marks.

How to Use the Last 2 Days Before the Chemistry Exam:

The final two days before the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry exam should be used for focused and smart revision. Instead of trying to study everything again, students should strengthen important concepts, revise key formulas and reactions, and work on weak areas. A planned revision strategy during this time helps improve confidence and accuracy in the exam.

What to focus on:

NCERT textbook revision

Important formulas and reactions

Previous year questions

Weak areas

Quick notes and summaries

What to avoid:

Starting new chapters

Reading multiple books

Long study sessions without revision

Learning difficult concepts at the last moment

Smart revision is more effective than studying for long hours.

Understand the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Exam Pattern:

Before beginning revision, students should clearly understand the exam pattern and marking scheme. Knowing the types of questions asked in the paper helps in prioritizing important topics and preparing answers according to CBSE requirements.

Exam Pattern Overview:

Competency-based questions

Case-based questions

Short and long answer questions

Balanced weightage from Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry

Knowing the pattern helps students focus on important concepts and manage time better.

Focus Only on NCERT — The Most Important Source

At the last stage of preparation, NCERT should be the primary study material. Most board exam questions are directly or indirectly based on NCERT concepts, examples, and exercises. Thorough NCERT revision ensures better clarity and improves scoring potential.

How to revise NCERT quickly:

Read highlighted lines and definitions

Revise examples and solved problems

Focus on tables and diagrams

Practice back exercise questions

Review intext questions

Even one missed NCERT concept can cost marks.

Subject-Wise Last Minute Revision Strategy:

Chemistry has three sections — Physical, Organic, and Inorganic — and each requires a different revision approach.

A balanced revision ensures better preparation and improves overall performance.

Physical Chemistry Quick Revision Strategy

Physical Chemistry requires conceptual clarity and numerical practice. In the last two days, focus on formulas and important derivations.

What to revise:

All formulas and units

Important derivations

Numerical problem types

Graph-based concepts

Important Chapters:

Solutions

Electrochemistry

Chemical Kinetics

Surface Chemistry

Practice a few solved examples to improve confidence.

Organic Chemistry Quick Revision Strategy

Organic Chemistry becomes easy when reaction mechanisms are clear. Focus on understanding reactions instead of memorizing blindly.

What to revise:

Named reactions

Reaction mechanisms

Conversions

Reagents and conditions

Functional group reactions

Important Chapters:

Haloalkanes and Haloarenes

Alcohols, Phenols, and Ethers

Aldehydes, Ketones, and Carboxylic Acids

Amines

Biomolecules

Prepare a quick reaction summary sheet for revision.

Inorganic Chemistry Quick Revision Strategy:

Inorganic Chemistry is scoring if revised properly because many questions are directly based on NCERT theory.

What to revise:

Chemical properties

Trends and exceptions

Coordination compounds

Important reactions

Important Chapters:

Coordination Compounds

d- and f-Block Elements

p-Block Elements

Read NCERT line by line for best results.

Revise Important Formulas and Reactions:

Formulas and chemical reactions play a major role in scoring marks. Quick recall helps solve questions faster.

Make sure to revise:

Electrochemistry formulas

Rate laws in Chemical Kinetics

Solution concentration formulas

Organic reaction mechanisms

Named reactions

Keep a small formula sheet for quick revision.

CBSE Class 12 Chemistry – Quick Formula Sheet:

Practice Previous Year Question Papers:

Previous year papers help students understand important topics and improve answer writing.

Benefits:

Understand question pattern

Improve time management

Identify important chapters

Build exam confidence

Solve at least 2–3 papers before the exam.

Improve Answer Presentation

In CBSE board exams, answer presentation plays an important role in scoring marks. Writing clear steps, proper chemical equations, and neat diagrams helps examiners evaluate answers easily.

Academic Tips for better presentation:

Write clear steps in numerical problems

Use proper chemical equations

Draw neat diagrams where required

Highlight key points

Follow proper format for long answers

Good presentation increases marks even if answers are partially correct.
