According to the experts, this year’s NEET Biology Paper is almost similar to the last year’s papers. Questions were asked from the old syllabus of NCERT, including topics like Animal Tissues and Cockroaches.

Difficulty Level of Questions:

The NEET 2024 Biology section was thoughtfully structured, with 27 questions from Botany in class 11th and 23 questions from class 12th. Similarly, 27 questions were dedicated to class 11th Zoology and 23 questions to class 12th, ensuring equal representation of both subjects.

Additionally, the number of single correct questions was 45. 13 questions were multiple correct, 2 were assertion reasoning, 10 were statement type, and 30 were match the column.

The registration process for NEET UG 2024 is currently underway and will continue until March 9, 2024 (up to 05:00 PM). Candidates who have already submitted their application forms can modify their exam center using the application form correction facility.

NEET UG 2024 Overseas Exam Center Cities:

NEET 2024 exam will be conducted in 557 cities across India, in addition to 14 cities in foreign countries, making it a total of 571 cities. This is the highest number of cities where NEET exam centers have been located in the past few years.

The last date for submitting the NEET 2024 application form is March 9, 2024. The application correction window will likely open in the first week of April 2024. The NEET 2024 exam will take place on May 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 5.20 PM, according to the Indian Standard Time (IST).

Correction Guidelines for Candidates (Already Registered):

• Correction Window: Candidates who initially selected centers in India but wish to change to foreign cities will be able to correct their center and country choices during the correction window. This window will open after the registration window closes.
• Fee Payment: Candidates in foreign countries opting to change their centers to foreign cities can do so during the correction period. However, they must pay the differential amount, if applicable.

Guidelines for Foreign Candidates (New Registration):

• Selection Process: Candidates registering from foreign countries for the first time can directly select their preferred country and city from the drop-down menu during the application process.
• Fee Payment: Upon selecting the preferred center, candidates should pay the requisite fee and submit their application to complete the registration process.

This announcement aims to provide clarity and convenience to candidates outside India, ensuring they can access NEET (UG) 2024 examination centers in nearby foreign cities. It is advised to stay tuned to official announcements from NTA and the Ministry of Education for any further updates or inquiries.

NEET UG 2024 Exam Details:

The NEET-UG exam will take place on May 5th, 2024, conducted by NTA. It will be a written test and you can choose to answer in 13 different languages, including English, Hindi, and others.

The exam will have a total of 200 questions, with 50 questions each from Chemistry, Physics, Botany, and Zoology. These questions will be multiple-choice, meaning you choose the correct answer from four options. The exam will last for 3 hours and 20 minutes, the same for everyone.

NEET UG 2024 Registration Fee:

• For General/ NRI category, the registration fee will be Rs. 1700/-
• For General-EWS/OBC-NCL category the registration fee will be Rs. 1600/-
• For SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender category the registration fee will be Rs. 1000/-

Note: Processing charges & Goods and Services Tax (GST) are to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.

NEET UG 2024 Important Instructions:

• Use the official website to submit your application. Only online submissions are accepted.
• Any application sent through other methods won’t be considered by NTA.
• Each candidate should send only one application form.
• Follow the instructions on the NTA website and in the information bulletin carefully to avoid any issues later on.
• Provide your or your Parents’/Guardians’ email address and phone number. NTA will use these for all communication.
• You need to include your address proof (both current and permanent) in the application. This could be your AADHAAR Card, Passport, Voter ID card, Domicile Certificate, etc. If both addresses are the same, one document is enough. Merge and upload them in a single pdf file.
