3-month Study Plan for NEET 2024:

Planning your NEET preparation is crucial, especially when you have only three months (90 days) to prepare. Without a well-structured study plan, tackling NEET UG preparation in such a short duration can be challenging. Many aspirants start their studies without a clear strategy, leading to inefficient time use and difficulty confidently answering questions.

To initiate your NEET preparation in three months, list the chapters from the latest NEET UG syllabus you must cover. Once you have listed the chapters, categorise them into three groups: weak, medium, and strong, based on your proficiency in each subject.

To maximise your performance in the NEET Exam, initially prioritise the preparation of medium and strong chapters. Once you have built a solid foundation, shift your focus to the weaker chapters. You may have found these chapters challenging over the past two years, and therefore, they shouldn’t be your primary focus initially.

Month-Wise Study Plan for NEET 2024:

The NEET UG syllabus is extensive and covers four subjects, with numerous topics and terminologies to learn. Therefore, it is necessary to be highly committed and consistent in NEET preparation. Regular learning and dedication can make the NEET UG 2024 preparation more manageable and less stressful.

Students are advised to cover all the subjects’ topics to score well and achieve a good AIR in the NEET UG 2024 exam. NEET 2024 Exam Subject-Wise Preparation Tips:

Physics:

Physics is a subject that requires critical and analytical thinking skills and a good understanding of essential concepts, formulae, and information. This is particularly important for medical aspirants who need to master the fundamentals of physics. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

  • Start with the NCERT textbook to understand the basics of physics, then move on to other books.
  • Keep a separate notebook for important formulae, concepts, and equations to refer to for quick revision.
  • Break down complex topics into short sub-topics, learn step-by-step, and visualise every concept. Creating diagrams can help you better understand the concepts.
  • Practice is key to mastering the concepts and their applications. Start with simple questions and work your way up to more complex ones.
  • Focus on solving conceptual questions that connect theoretical concepts to real-world situations. This requires analytical skills.
  • Avoid calculation errors while resolving physics questions, and be extremely careful when using signs and S.I. units.

Chemistry:

Chemistry is a subject that is comparatively more straightforward than physics for NEET aspirants. However, it requires memorisation of important formulae and reactions. Therefore, it is essential to learn all the formulae and reactions. Here are a few tips to help you get started:

  • Understanding units, conversion, mechanism, and how atoms and molecules interact are the foundations of chemistry. Prioritise mastering the fundamental concepts. Once that is done, it will become more accessible to memorise other information.
  • Start with NCERT and finish it before moving on to other books.
  • For organic chemistry, carefully learn all the chemical reactions, reaction mechanisms, named reactions, and exceptions.
  • For physical chemistry, study the information from your notes first, then NCERT, and finally, you can refer to other books. Write down all the equations from the chapter in a notebook once you’ve finished so that you can quickly refer to them while solving questions. Practice as many questions as possible to strengthen your concepts.
  • For inorganic chemistry, you will gain a solid foundation if you complete the NCERT. Therefore, take thorough notes for every chapter.
  • Practice the relevant formulae as often as you can. You should revise all the critical formulas before bed for better recollection.

Biology:

Biology is a crucial and high-scoring subject for NEET aspirants. To help you with your biology revision, we have put together some useful tips:

  • Firstly, it is essential to refer to the NCERT textbooks as they are considered the bible for biology. Make it a habit to read them daily and pay close attention to every detail, including diagrams, data, statistics, scientific names, scientist contributions over the years, and case studies.
  • After studying a topic, take notes of important details such as vocabulary, terminology, procedures, diagrams, concept summaries, and explanations. Writing things down will help you understand and retain the fundamentals for longer.
  • Create a flowchart of all the formulas and diagrams, and use coloured pens and markers to highlight them, making it easier for you to remember them.
  • Lastly, regular revision is crucial for biology. Revise the important topics as much as possible before the exam.

We hope this 3-month Study Plan for NEET 2024 will help you ace your NEET 2024 preparation. However, we advise you to customise your own study plan based on your strengths and weaknesses. All students learn differently, so it’s essential to tailor your study plan to fit your learning style.
