The wait is finally over for lakhs of students across India and abroad. The CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 has been officially declared, bringing relief and excitement for students and parents alike.

This year, the results have been announced earlier than usual, thanks to a faster evaluation process and the introduction of the Phase 2 examination system.

In this blog, you will find complete details on how to check your result, passing criteria, grading system, DigiLocker access, and what to do next.

How to Check CBSE Class 10 Result 2026

To manage heavy traffic, CBSE has made the results available on multiple official websites.

Official Websites

results.cbse.nic.in

cbse.gov.in

results.nic.in

Students are advised to use only official platforms to avoid confusion or incorrect information.

Steps to Download CBSE Class 10 Marksheet

Follow these simple steps to check your result:

Visit any official CBSE result website

Click on “Secondary School Examination (Class X) 2026”

Enter:

Roll Number

School Number

Admit Card ID

Enter your Date of Birth

Fill the Security Pin

Click on Submit

Your result will appear on the screen. Download and save a copy for future use.

Alternative Ways to Check CBSE Result 2026

If websites are slow due to high traffic, students can use these alternative methods:

1. DigiLocker (Highly Recommended)

CBSE provides official digital marksheets through DigiLocker.

How to Access

Visit: cbseservices.digilocker.gov.in

Use the 6-digit access code provided by your school

Login and check your documents

APAAR ID Advantage

If your APAAR ID is linked, your marksheet will automatically appear under “Issued Documents”.

2. UMANG App

Available on Android and iOS

Search for CBSE services

Enter your credentials to check your result

3. SMS Service

Students can also receive results via SMS:

Type: CBSE10 <RollNo> <SchoolNo> <AdmitCardID>

Send to: 7738299899

CBSE Class 10 Passing Marks 2026

To pass the exam, students must score:

Minimum 33% marks in each subject

This includes theory + internal assessment

Students failing to meet this criterion will need to appear for improvement or supplementary exams.

CBSE Class 10 Grading System

CBSE follows a grading system instead of raw marks display.

Grade

Marks Range

Grade Point

A1

91–100

10.0

A2

81–90

9.0

B1

71–80

8.0

B2

61–70

7.0

C1

51–60

6.0

D

33–40

4.0 (Pass)

E

Below 33

Repeat

Understanding your grade helps in planning your next academic step.

If You Are Not Satisfied with Your Result?

CBSE has introduced a flexible system to support students.

1. Re-evaluation & Verification

Students can apply for:

Marks verification

Re-evaluation

The application window will open soon on the official CBSE website

2. Phase 2 Board Exams (Second Chance)

Students who:

Want to improve marks

Failed in up to 3 subjects

Can appear for Phase 2 exams starting from May 15, 2026.

This is a great opportunity to improve performance without waiting a full year.

Original Marksheet & Certificates

The online result is provisional

Students must collect their original marksheet from their school

Digital copies from DigiLocker are also valid for most purposes

Important Advice for Students

Do Not Panic: Results are just one part of your academic journey.

Follow these steps to download your slip:

NEET UG 2026 City Intimation Slip: Key Information for Students

NTA has released the advance city intimation slip to help candidates prepare in advance.

You can now check which city your exam centre will be located in

This helps in travel planning and accommodation arrangements

It reduces last-minute confusion before the exam

For students who have previously appeared for engineering entrance exams, the process is similar to how JEE Main 2026 Session 2 city slip was released for Middle East NRI students. Understanding this process helps you stay prepared.

NTA Official Circular:

Difference between City Slip and Admit Card

Many students get confused between these two documents.

City Intimation Slip

Shows only the exam city

Released before the admit card

Helps in planning

Admit Card (To Be Released Later)

Contains exact exam centre address

Includes exam timing, reporting instructions

Mandatory to carry on exam day

Note: The city slip is NOT the admit card. Similar to the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Admit Card release process, the NEET admit card will be issued separately closer to the exam date.

Next Steps After Checking Your Exam City

Once you download your city slip, take the following steps:

1. Plan Your Travel

If your exam city is different from your home city, plan your travel early to avoid last-minute issues.

2. Arrange Accommodation

Book your stay near the exam centre city in advance, especially if it is a major city.

3. Check Distance & Route

Understand how to reach your exam city and centre location beforehand.

4. Continue Your Preparation

Do not get distracted. Use this time for revision and mock tests.

For effective preparation, you can refer to resources like how to write a research paper which shares similar principles of structured preparation and time management.

What If You Face Issues While Downloading?

Exact exam centre address

Reporting time

Important exam day instructions

Candidates must download it once released. The process will be similar to how JEE Main admit cards were released in phases for different exam dates.

Check their allotted city carefully

Plan travel in advance if required

Keep documents ready

Follow official updates

For Gulf students, understanding the city intimation process for Middle East NRI students can provide helpful insights into how international centres are managed.

For every serious engineering aspirant, qualifying JEE Main is just the first step. The real challenge begins with JEE Advanced 2026, the gateway to prestigious IITs.

Unlike JEE Main, which focuses on speed and accuracy, JEE Advanced tests deep conceptual understanding, problem-solving ability, and mental endurance.

In this blog, you will find a complete guide covering the exam schedule, eligibility checklist, and expert preparation strategies to help you perform at your best.

JEE Advanced 2026: Important Dates & Schedule

Before starting your preparation, it is important to clearly understand the timeline of JEE Advanced 2026. Knowing the exam schedule helps you plan revision, mock tests, and final preparation effectively. Since the gap between JEE Main results and JEE Advanced is short, having clarity on key dates gives you a strategic advantage.

Expected Schedule

Exam Date: May 2026 (Sunday)

Paper 1: 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Paper 2: 02:30 PM – 05:30 PM

Key Timeline (Tentative)

Registration Start: April 2026

Last Date to Apply: Early May 2026

Admit Card Release: 1 week before exam

Result Declaration: June 2026

Students should keep all documents ready immediately after JEE Main results, as the registration window is short.

JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility Checklist

Not every JEE Main candidate is eligible for JEE Advanced. Before moving forward with preparation, students must carefully check all eligibility criteria. Understanding these requirements early helps avoid confusion later and ensures that you are fully prepared for the registration process.

1. JEE Main Performance

You must be among the top 2,50,000 candidates in JEE Main 2026 across all categories.

2. Age Limit

Born on or after October 1, 2001

Relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates

3. Number of Attempts

Maximum 2 attempts in 2 consecutive years

4. Class 12 Requirement

Must have appeared for Class 12 for the first time in 2025 or 2026

JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Day Checklist

Two Compulsory Papers

Paper 1 and Paper 2 are both mandatory

Missing one paper leads to disqualification

Documents to Carry

Printed Admit Card

Original Photo ID (Aadhaar / Passport / School ID)

Dress Code

Wear simple and comfortable clothes

Avoid metallic items, heavy accessories, or shoes

Prohibited Items

Mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches

Notes, books, or any electronic device

JEE Advanced Preparation Strategy

1. Focus on Multi-Concept Problems

JEE Advanced is not just about hard work—it requires smart preparation and the right mindset. Students must shift from basic problem-solving to deep conceptual understanding. Developing a “ranker mindset” is essential to handle the complexity and unpredictability of JEE Advanced questions.

Unlike direct questions in JEE Main, Advanced problems often combine:

Multiple chapters

Concepts from different subjects

Logical reasoning and application

Practice linked and multi-step problems regularly.

2. Build 6-Hour Exam Stamina

One of the biggest differences between JEE Main and JEE Advanced is the type of questions asked. Advanced problems often combine multiple concepts into a single question. To perform well, students must train themselves to think logically and connect different topics while solving problems.

What to Do

Practice full-length mock tests

Follow exact exam timings (morning + afternoon)

Train your brain to stay focused for long hours

3. Subject-Wise Preparation Tips

JEE Advanced is a long and mentally demanding exam with two papers on the same day. Many students struggle not because of lack of knowledge, but due to fatigue and loss of focus. Building mental stamina through regular mock tests is essential for maintaining performance throughout the exam.

Physics

Focus on Mechanics and Electromagnetism

Understand derivations, not just formulas

Practice conceptual and numerical problems

Chemistry

Inorganic: NCERT is essential

Organic: Focus on reaction mechanisms

Physical: Practice numericals and formulas

Mathematics

Focus on Calculus, Vectors, and 3D Geometry

Solve advanced-level problems

Prioritize accuracy over speed

Preparation Resources: Exam Pattern | Syllabus | Eligibility Criteria | Exam Centers | Past Papers

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Each subject in JEE Advanced requires a different preparation approach. While Physics demands conceptual clarity, Chemistry needs strong fundamentals, and Mathematics requires problem-solving skills. A subject-wise strategy ensures balanced preparation and helps maximize your overall score.

Ignoring advanced-level questions

Not practicing full-length tests

Focusing only on strong subjects

Poor time management

Overconfidence after JEE Main

Preparation Timeline After JEE Main

Even after months of preparation, students often make simple mistakes that affect their final rank. Identifying and avoiding these mistakes early can significantly improve your performance. Awareness of common errors helps you stay disciplined and focused during preparation.

Smart Plan

First 5 days: Revise concepts

Next 10–15 days: Solve advanced problems

Last 7 days: Mock tests + analysis

Consistency during this phase is critical.

Important Documents to Keep Ready

Many students face last-minute issues during registration due to missing documents. Keeping all required documents ready in advance ensures a smooth application process. It also saves time and reduces unnecessary stress during this critical phase.

Before registration begins, keep these ready:

JEE Main application details

Class 12 documents

Category certificate (if applicable)

Valid ID proof

This helps avoid last-minute stress.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Advance City Intimation Slip for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 on March 21, 2026. This slip tells you the city where your exam center will be located.

For our NRI students across the Middle East, this update is very important. Some students have received centers in their home countries, while others are seeing changes. Here is a simple guide to help you understand everything step by step.

How to Download Your City Intimation Slip

Follow these simple steps to get your slip:

Visit the official JEE Main website: jeemain.nta.nic.in

Click on the link that says “Advance City Intimation Session-2”

Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth or Password

Your City Intimation Slip will appear on the screen

Download the slip and take a printout for your reference

Important: This is not your Admit Card. It only tells you the city of your exam center. The final Admit Card with the exact center address will be released about three days before your exam date.

What This Update Means for Middle East Students:

The official notice stated that exams will be held in 15 cities outside India. For students in the Gulf region, the situation varies by country.

Based on information shared by our students and available official updates, here is what you need to know:

Some students have received centers in their home countries like UAE, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait

Students in Bahrain are facing a different situation where the Manama center is not available for Session 2

If your slip shows a city in India, you will need to make travel plans accordingly

Read the sections below for country-specific details.

Urgent Alert for Bahrain Students: Change City Option

For students who originally selected Bahrain (Manama) as their exam center, a new alert has appeared on the NTA login portal. When you log in, you may see a red message that says:

“You have been provided a one-time opportunity to modify your choice of examination city. You can login by Clicking Here and selecting the ‘Change City’ option.”

This confirms that the Manama center is currently not available for JEE Main 2026 Session 2.

How to Change Your City:

If you see this alert on your login screen, follow these steps:

Step

Action

Step 1

Log in to the official JEE Main website using your Application Number and Password

Step 2

Step 3

Confirm your selection and take a screenshot or printout for your records

What Students Are Reporting:

Based on what our students have shared, the available options for change are mostly cities in India. Since the exam starts on April 2, we recommend booking your flights to India as soon as you confirm your new city. Airfares tend to go up quickly during early April.

Practical Tips for Students in the Gulf

If your center is in the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, or Kuwait, here are some tips to help you on exam day:

Carry a Light Jacket: Exam halls in the Gulf are known for strong air conditioning. The temperature can drop to 20–22°C. Wearing a light hoodie or jacket will keep you comfortable during the three-hour exam.

Plan for Morning Traffic: In the UAE, if you live in Dubai but your center is in Sharjah, morning traffic on the E311 or E11 can be heavy. Aim to reach near your center at least 90 minutes before reporting time.

Keep Your Passport Ready: For international centers, your original passport is your main identity proof. Make sure the name matches your JEE application exactly.

Practical Tips for Students Traveling to India

If your slip shows a city in India or if you are a Bahrain student changing your city to India:

Arrive Two Days Before Your Exam: Try to land in India at least 48 hours before your exam date. This gives you time to rest and adjust to the weather.

Stay with Family if Possible: If you have relatives in your exam city, staying with them can help reduce stress. Home-cooked food and a familiar environment make a difference.

Book Travel Early: Flight tickets to India fill up fast in early April. Book as soon as you confirm your city.

Stay Updated with Allen Overseas

The situation with exam centers can change, and new updates may come from the NTA at any time. To make sure you do not miss any important information:

Keep checking the official NTA websites: www.nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in

Follow Allen Overseas for accurate and timely updates

If you face any issues with your allotment, contact the NTA helpline:

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released an important notification dated 18 March 2026 regarding the assessment scheme for Class 10 students in the Middle East.

Earlier, CBSE had cancelled the remaining Class 10 board examinations in countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Iran due to the ongoing situation in the region. At that time, the board had informed that the result calculation method would be announced separately.

Now, CBSE has officially shared how Class 10 results will be prepared for students in these affected regions.

CBSE Exam Cancellation Information:

CBSE had conducted examinations successfully between 17 February 2026 and 28 February 2026. During this period, students appeared for several important subjects, including:

Mathematics

Science

English

Languages

Skill-based subjects

However, due to safety concerns, the remaining exams scheduled after early March were cancelled. This created the need for a fair and transparent evaluation system for students who could not complete all their papers.

CBSE Class 10 Result 2026: Assessment Categories

CBSE has divided students into different categories based on the number of exams they were able to attend before cancellation.

Students Who Appeared in All Examinations

Students who completed all their exams will have their results calculated normally. Their marks will be based entirely on their actual performance in the board examinations.

Students Who Appeared in 4 Examinations

For students who appeared in four subjects, CBSE will calculate their result using:

The average marks of the best three subjects

This average will be applied to subjects whose exams were not conducted

This ensures fairness while maintaining academic consistency.

Students Who Appeared in 3 Examinations

Students who appeared in three subjects will have their results prepared using:

The average of the best two subjects

The calculated average will be used for remaining subjects

This method helps maintain balance in evaluation despite fewer completed exams.

Students Who Appeared in 2 Examinations

A small number of students appeared in only two subjects. For these students:

The average of the two subjects’ marks will be used

This average will be applied to all remaining subjects

Private / Compartment Students

Students who registered under the compartment category (2025 or earlier) will be evaluated as follows:

If they appeared in one or two exams → Result based on actual performance

If any subject exam was missed → They will get an opportunity to appear in the second board examination

Students Who Changed Exam Centre

Some students shifted their exam centres to countries outside the affected region. For such students:

Results will be declared based on their actual exam performance

Important Points About CBSE Class 10 Result 2026

CBSE has also issued several important instructions regarding result declaration:

Result Declaration Timeline

Results for Middle East students will be declared along with all other CBSE students.

Internal Assessment Will Be Included

Internal assessment marks (already submitted by schools) will be included in the final result.

Since internal assessment is conducted throughout the year, no changes will be made.

Improvement Opportunity Available

Students will be allowed to improve their performance through the second board examination, as per CBSE policy.

No Special Exams

CBSE has clearly stated that no special examination will be conducted outside its official policy.

Final Decision by CBSE

The assessment scheme prepared by CBSE will be final and binding.

Any additional decision, if required, will be taken by the board.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important circular on 15 March 2026 regarding the Class 12 Board Examinations for students studying in the Middle East. The decision comes after continuous review of the security situation and multiple requests from schools and local authorities in the affected countries.

According to the latest CBSE circular, the board has decided to cancel all remaining Class XII board examinations for students appearing from certain Middle Eastern countries. This decision follows several earlier circulars issued on 1 March, 3 March, 5 March, 7 March, and 9 March 2026, which had previously postponed some examinations.

The new announcement brings clarity for thousands of students studying in CBSE-affiliated schools across the Gulf region.

Class 12 Board Exams Cancelled from 16 March to 10 April 2026:

CBSE has officially confirmed that all Class 12 board examinations scheduled between 16 March 2026 and 10 April 2026 will not be conducted for students appearing from the affected Middle Eastern countries.

This means that students who were preparing for their upcoming Class 12 board papers during this period will no longer need to appear for those examinations.

The decision was taken after evaluating the feasibility of conducting examinations in the region and prioritizing the safety and well-being of students.

Previously Postponed Exams Also Cancelled:

CBSE had earlier postponed several board examinations in the Middle East through circulars issued earlier in March 2026. These exams were initially delayed due to the evolving situation in the region.

With the latest circular dated 15 March 2026, the board has now clarified that all those postponed examinations are also cancelled.

This applies to all exams that were previously rescheduled or under review.

Students and schools no longer need to wait for revised dates for these postponed papers.

CBSE Circular 6 [15 March 2026] Official:

CBSE Decision for Countries:

The cancellation applies to CBSE-affiliated schools located in the following seven Middle Eastern countries:

Bahrain

Iran

Kuwait

Oman

Qatar

Saudi Arabia

United Arab Emirates (UAE)

These countries host a large number of Indian students studying in CBSE curriculum schools.

Students from cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Doha, Muscat, Riyadh, and Kuwait City are directly affected by this decision.

How Will Class 12 Results Be Declared?

CBSE has clarified that the method for declaring Class 12 results for these students will be announced separately.

The board is currently working on an evaluation process that ensures fairness and transparency for students who could not complete their board examinations.

The result declaration policy will be communicated through a separate official notification once finalized.

Students and schools are advised to wait for the next CBSE announcement regarding the evaluation method.

Coordination with Indian Diplomatic Authorities

The circular also confirms that the decision was taken after consultation with Indian diplomatic authorities in the affected countries.

This includes coordination with:

Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi)

Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia (Riyadh)

Ambassador of India to Oman (Muscat)

Ambassador of India to Qatar

Ambassador of India to Bahrain

Ambassador of India to Kuwait

Ambassador of India to Iran (Tehran)

Consulate General of India in Dubai

The involvement of these authorities ensured that the decision prioritizes the safety of Indian students studying abroad.

Advice for Students and Parents:

Students and parents should remain calm and wait for further updates regarding the evaluation method and result declaration process.

In the meantime, they should:

Stay connected with their school administration

Follow updates on the official CBSE website

Avoid relying on unverified messages circulating on social media

Schools will also provide guidance once CBSE releases further instructions regarding results.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened the NEET UG 2026 application correction window. Candidates who have already submitted their NEET application form now have a final opportunity to review and correct certain details in their forms.

The correction facility began on March 12, 2026, and will remain available for a limited period. Students who notice any mistake in their application form must update the information within the specified time to avoid issues during admit card generation or the admission process.
Since the correction window is available only once, candidates should carefully review all details before submitting the corrected form.

NEET UG 2026 Correction Window Schedule

The NTA revised the correction schedule after extending the application deadline. Students should note the following important dates.

Correction Window Dates

Correction Window Opens: March 12, 2026 (12:00 PM)

Correction Window Closes: March 14, 2026 (11:50 PM)

Candidates must complete all corrections within this period. After the deadline, the NTA will not allow any further modifications to the application form.

Official Website

Students can access the correction window through the official NEET website: https://neet.nta.nic.in
All corrections must be made only through the online portal.

Importance of NEET Correction Window:

Many students accidentally make errors while filling out the application form, such as spelling mistakes in personal details, incorrect category selection, or wrong exam city preferences.

The correction window allows candidates to update these details before the final processing of applications.
Correct information is important because it affects:

Admit card generation

Candidate verification during the exam

Counselling and admission procedures

Students should therefore review every field carefully before confirming the corrections.

Details That Can Be Edited in the NEET 2026 Application Form:

The NTA allows candidates to edit certain fields in their application form during the correction window.
Depending on the candidate’s earlier submission, the editable fields may include:

Personal details such as name spelling or parental details

Category and sub-category information

Nationality details

Exam city preferences

Educational qualification details

Uploaded photographs or signatures (if required)

Medium of examination

However, some fields may remain non-editable depending on the registration stage.
Candidates should read the official instructions carefully before making changes.

Step-by-Step Process to Edit NEET UG 2026 Application Form:

Students can follow these simple steps to make corrections in their application form.

Step 1: Visit the Official NEET Website

Go to the official NEET portal: neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Login to Your Candidate Account

Use your Application Number and Password or other login credentials to access the candidate dashboard.

Step 3: Open the Correction Window

Once logged in, click on the “Correction in Application Form” option available on the dashboard.

Step 4: Review All Details Carefully

Check every section of your application form carefully and update the required fields.

Step 5: Submit the Corrected Form

After making the necessary corrections:

Review all details again

Click on Final Submit

Download and save the confirmation page

Students should keep a copy of the updated application form for future reference.

Important Instructions for NEET 2026 Candidates

Candidates must keep the following points in mind while making corrections.

This Is a One-Time Facility

The correction window is provided only once. After the deadline, no further changes will be allowed under any circumstances.

Check Every Detail Carefully

Students should carefully review:

Name spelling

Date of birth

Category details

Exam city preferences

Uploaded documents

Any mistake left uncorrected may create problems during the admission process.

In recent days, a message circulating on social media has created confusion among CBSE students studying in the Middle East. The message claims that certain CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams scheduled for today have been rescheduled, and it appears in the form of a circular allegedly issued by CBSE.

However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially clarified that this circular is fake and has not been issued by the board. Students, parents, and schools have been advised not to believe or share such unverified messages.

This article explains the truth behind the viral circular, CBSE’s official response, and what students should do to stay updated with accurate information.

Viral Circular Information Claimed:

The circular that went viral on messaging platforms and social media claimed that certain CBSE board examinations scheduled in Middle Eastern countries had been rescheduled.

According to the viral message:

Exams for CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 were supposedly moved to new dates.

The changes were said to apply to several Gulf countries.

The notice appeared to be issued by the CBSE Controller of Examinations.

The message spread quickly across platforms such as WhatsApp, Twitter, and other social media channels, leading many students and parents to believe that the exam schedule had changed.

CBSE Clarifications on the viral Circular:

CBSE has officially confirmed that the circular being shared online is not genuine.

The board clarified that:

No such notice has been issued regarding rescheduling of exams on the mentioned date.

The circular circulating online is fake and misleading.

Students and parents should rely only on official CBSE announcements.

CBSE also shared the clarification through its official communication channels and verified social media accounts, urging the public to avoid spreading misinformation.

Confusion among the Students/Parents:

The confusion partly arose because some CBSE board exams in the Middle East have actually been postponed earlier due to security concerns in the region.

Recent developments in the Middle East have affected examination schedules in several countries. As a precautionary measure, CBSE had already:

Postponed certain Class 10 and Class 12 exams in the region.

Cancelled some Class 10 papers in specific circumstances.

These official changes led to speculation online, which may have contributed to the spread of the fake circular.

CBSE has confirmed that revised exam dates for postponed papers will be announced later through official notifications.

Countries Where CBSE Exams Were Affected

Bahrain

Iran

Kuwait

Oman

Qatar

Students in cities such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, and Riyadh should follow official updates from their schools and the CBSE website.

CBSE’s Advice to Students and Parents:

CBSE has strongly advised students and parents to avoid relying on information shared through unofficial sources.

To stay informed, students should:

Check the Official CBSE Website

All official announcements regarding board exams are published on the CBSE official website. Students should check the website regularly for accurate updates.

Follow Verified CBSE Social Media Accounts

CBSE also shares important updates through its verified social media handles, which can help students stay informed quickly.

Stay Connected with School Authorities

School principals and examination coordinators receive official CBSE communications. Students should remain in contact with their schools for any important announcements.

Avoid Spreading Unverified Information

Sharing unverified messages on social media can create unnecessary confusion and anxiety among students preparing for their exams.

Students and parents are encouraged to:

Verify information before sharing

Ignore unofficial circulars

Trust only official announcements
