NEET 2026 will be conducted for a total of 720 marks – 180 questions of 4 marks each.

3. Is there negative marking in NEET 2026?
Yes. For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted. No marks are deducted for unattempted questions.

NEET 2026 is of 3 hours (180 minutes) duration. PwD candidates get 1 hour compensatory time (total 4 hours).
5. Can I change my exam language after submitting the application form?

9. Can I use a pencil to mark answers on the OMR sheet?

10. Is there any sectional time limit in NEET 2026?
No. There is no sectional time limit. Candidates can allocate the 3 hours across sections as per their strategy.
11. What is the difficulty level of NEET Physics?
Based on previous years, Physics has ~55% easy questions, ~36% medium, and ~9% difficult. Strong conceptual clarity and numerical practice are essential.
12. Are both Botany and Zoology asked in the same section?
Yes. Botany and Zoology are two separate sections within the Biology paper, each containing 45 questions (180 marks). The total Biology component is 90 questions for 360 marks.
