DASA 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying through the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) 2025 scheme, candidates must ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. Nationality
The DASA scheme is open to:
- Foreign Nationals (FNs)
- Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)
- Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)
- Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)
2. Age Criteria
Applicants must be born on or after October 1, 2000. The date of birth mentioned in official documents such as the Class X certificate, Secondary Education Board records, or any valid government-issued certificate will be
considered final.
3. Academic Eligibility
To apply under DASA 2025, candidates must:
- Hold a valid JEE (Main) 2025 rank:
- B.E./B.Tech. rank for B.E./B.Tech. courses
- B.Arch. rank for B.Arch. course
- B.Plan. rank for B.Plan. course
- Have completed Class XII (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized education system, accepted by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) – www.aiu.ac.in
- system, accepted by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) – www.aiu.ac.in
- Those currently in Class XII (academic year 2024–25) and expecting their final results by September 30, 2025, are also eligible to apply.
Subject & Marks Requirement for B.E./B.Tech.:
Candidates must have passed Class XII with:
- Mathematics, Physics, and one subject from Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer
Science, or Biology
- A minimum of 75% marks (CGPA of 7.5 out of 10) in aggregate
For B.Arch. (Bachelor of Architecture)
To be eligible for admission to the B.Arch. program, candidates must:
- Have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) with Physics, Chemistry, and
Mathematics
OR
- Have passed a 10+3 diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory
subject
In both cases, candidates must have secured at least:
- 75% marks in aggregate, or
- 7.5 CGPA out of 10,
as per the grading policy of their respective education boards.
For B.Plan. (Bachelor of Planning)
To apply for the B.Plan. program, candidates must:
- Have passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a mandatory subject
And must have achieved:
- A minimum of 75% aggregate marks, or
- 7.5 CGPA out of 10, in the qualifying exam as recognized by their respective board.
Important Note: This academic eligibility is in addition to the requirement of having a
valid JEE (Main) 2025 rank in the relevant paper:
- B.Arch. paper for B.Arch. program
- B.Plan. paper for B.Plan. program
4. Residential Requirement
Eligible candidates include:
- Foreign nationals studying in any country (including India)
- Indian nationals studying abroad, provided they have:
- Studied abroad for at least two years , including Classes 11 and 12 or equivalent (not beyond) in the last eight years, and must pass the same from abroad.
