JEE Advanced 2026 – Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) for B.Arch / B.Plan

Admission to B.Arch and B.Plan programs at IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIT BHU is not based on the standard JEE Advanced Paper 1 and Paper 2. Candidates who qualify JEE Advanced 2026 and wish to pursue Architecture or Planning must additionally appear for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026.

Eligibility: Only candidates who qualify JEE Advanced 2026 and register separately for AAT are eligible. AAT scores are used exclusively for B.Arch/B.Plan admissions at the participating IITs.

JEE Advanced 2026 – Facilities for PwD Candidates

Candidates with benchmark disabilities (minimum 40% impairment) are eligible for the following provisions as per the RPwD Act, 2016 and Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment guidelines:

  • Compensatory Time: 1 hour extra per paper (total 4 hours per paper).
  • Scribe Services: Candidates who are visually impaired, dyslexic, or have upper limb disabilities that prevent them from writing can avail a scribe. Scribe request must be submitted during registration with the required medical certificate.
  • Assistive Devices: Permitted as per NTA/IIT guidelines.

JEE Advanced 2026 – Exam Day Instructions

  • Reporting Time: Candidates must arrive at the examination centre at least 1 hour before the scheduled start time. Gates close 30 minutes prior to the exam.
  • Login Credentials: Candidates will receive a password to log in to the computer system. The keyboard will be disabled; only the mouse will be used to mark responses.
  • On-screen Clock: An automatic timer will be displayed. Candidates are advised to manage their time accordingly.
