  1. Hey, I have been searching for various colleges and entrances and I came to know that JEE ADVANCE AND IAT [ for iisc and iisers} which are govt colleges have applied a rule that oci candidiates will have to go through a procedure just as a normal indian student would go. You guys know that this rule is applied because of the supreme court verdict in feb 2023. Supreme court told in 2021 oci would be foreigners, but before 2021 oci would be treated same as indian and would have to give jee advanced and iat, so can we confirm that did DASA entertained oci/pio candidiates in dasa 2020/2019 and before.

    • Thanks for the response. The specific eligibility criteria and admission policies for OCI/PIO candidates in DASA or any other college can be determined by the respective institutions themselves. It is advisable to directly contact the colleges or universities you are interested in to obtain accurate and up-to-date information regarding their admission requirements and processes for OCI/PIO candidates. They will be able to provide you with the most accurate and relevant details regarding the admissions procedure and any recent changes in policies or regulations.
