JEE Main 2023 Exam Dates & Registrations Announced

The wait for JEE aspirants is finally over. NTA has announced the registration and examination dates for JEE Main 2023.

According to the official notification, the JEE Main 2023 will be held in two sessions for the academic session 2023-24. Session 1 exam will take place on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, and Session 2 will be held on April 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2023.

With the announcement of examination dates, NTA has also released the JEE Main 2023 registration form on its official website, www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. Eligible candidates must fill out the registration form in “Online” mode only through the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.

How to fill the JEE Main 2023 Registration Form?

Follow the given steps to fill the JEE Main 2023 Registration form:

Step 1: Visit the NTA’s JEE Main 2023 official website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Register by entering your basic details like name, email address, mobile number etc.

Step 3: Now log in using the credentials provided and fill out the JEE Main 2023 application form.

Step 4: Upload the required documents as per the given specifications.

Step 5: Pay the registration fee.

Step 6: Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.

About JEE Main 2023:

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) comprises two papers.

Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognised by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs.

Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

The exam will be conducted in 13 languages, i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

In the first session of JEE (Main) – 2023, only Session 1 will be visible, and candidates can opt for that.

In the next session, Session 2 will be visible, and the candidates can opt for that Session. The application window for Session 2 will be re-opened as per the details available in the Information Bulletin and will also be notified separately through a Public Notice.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

  • Candidates are required to fill the registration form for JEE (Main) – 2023 through the “Online” mode only from the official website.  The Application Form in any other mode will not be accepted.
  • Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. In no circumstances will candidates be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. Strict action will be taken, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled more than one Application Form.
  • Candidates must strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not complying with the instructions shall be summarily disqualified.
  • Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents/Guardians only, as all information/ communication will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only
