NEET-UG 2023 Registrations Announced by NTA

The wait for medical aspirants is finally over when NTA announce the NEET-UG 2023 Registrations. Eligible candidates can fill the application form online from the official website www.neet.nta.nic.in As per the official notification, NEET-UG 2023 registration window is open from 6th March 2023 to 6th April 2023 till 9 PM IST, and the last date of fee payment is 6th April 2023 11:50 PM IST. Fee should be paid through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net-Banking/ UPI.

NEET-UG (National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test) is a common and uniform exam conducted for admission to undergraduate medical courses, including MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS and BSMS in all medical institutions of the country. In addition, for the year 2023, MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants seeking admission to Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for BSc Nursing Course are also required to qualify NEET. Their NEET score will be utilized for shortlisting candidates for admission to four year BSc Nursing program.

NEET-UG Exam Details:

NEET-UG examination is scheduled to be conducted on 7th May 2023 by NTA in pen and paper mode in 13 languages, i.e. English, Hindi, Punjabi, Assamese, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Tamil, and Urdu. The exam shall consist of 200 multiple-choice questions (four options with a single correct answer) from Chemistry, Physics, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). There will be 50 questions from each subject that are divided into two Sections (A and B). The duration of the Examination will be 3 hours and 20 minutes (200 minutes) from 2 PM IST to 5:20 PM IST and shall be uniform for all candidates.

How to apply for NEET-UG 2023?

Follow the given steps to fill the online application form for NEET-UG 2023 Registrations:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website- www.neet.nta.nic.in.
  • Step 2: Click on the application form link on the home page
  • Step 3: Register yourself by filling in all the required details.
  • Step 4: Login and fill out the complete application form.
  • Step 5: Upload the required documents (including the present and permanent address proof)
  • Step 6: Pay the registration fee and submit the application form.
  • Step 7: Download and preserve the confirmation page for future reference.

NEET-UG 2023 Important Instructions:

  • Candidates must submit the application form through the official website in “Online” mode only.
  • Application form should be submitted through the official website only. The Application Form submitted in any other mode will not be accepted by NTA.
  • A candidate needs to submit only one application form.
  • Candidates must strictly follow the instructions and guidelines provided on the NTA website and information bulletin to avoid disqualification at a later stage.
  • Candidates must submit their own or their Parents’/Guardians’ e-mail address and Mobile Number, as NTA will send all communication on the provided contact number and email address only.
  • All candidates are required to submit the address proof (Present and permanent address) in the application form. The address proof may include AADHAAR Card, Passport, Voter ID card, Domicile Certificate, etc. Both documents (if applicable) are to be merged and uploaded in a single pdf file. One document would suffice if the Present and Permanent addresses are same.
