CUET UG FAQs: Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the NTA for admission to undergraduate courses offered by the participating institutes. The exam provides candidates a common platform for admission to UG programs in top central/ deemed/ private universities across India. The exam is conducted once a year worldwide. CUET UG-2025 exam will be completely conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode instead of Hybrid mode.

Ans. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) is an entrance exam for admission to various central, state, private, deemed, or autonomous universities and colleges across India. This exam provides equal opportunities to candidates from all parts of India and outside India (NRIs) seeking admission to top CUET-accepting colleges for undergraduate courses in india. It is a single entrance exam for admission to UG courses.
Ans. The exam will consist of three sections:

Ans. In the CUET undergraduate exam, candidates can select a maximum of five subjects across all three sections.
Ans. For appearing in the CUET (UG) – 2024, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12 /equivalent examination or are appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in the CUET (UG) – 2024 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria (if any) of the University / Institution / Organization in which they are desirous of taking admission.
Ans. Yes, NRI students who fulfil the eligibility criteria for the CUET UG can take the entrance exam. They should visit the university website where they want to apply to know the specific requirements.
Ans: A total 213 universities will be participating in the CUET UG exam in 2025. Among them, 47 are Central universities, 22 are deemed universities, 27 are state universities, 110 are private universities and 7 Other Universities.
Ans: There is no NRI quota in the CUET UG exam.
Ans: An NRI candidate can take the CUET exam from outside India, as NTA has made the CUET UG exam available in certain cities for NRI students.
Ans: At Delhi University, there is no specific NRI quota for admissions. However, you can check the college or institute’s website to see if NRI quota seats are available.
