JEE Advanced 2024 Question Paper and Analysis: The JEE Advanced Exam 2024 finally concluded on 26 May 2024 (Sunday) at various centres under the 7 IIT Zones. The exam was concluded in two shifts: 9 AM to 12 Noon (Paper I) and 2 PM to 5 PM (Paper II). Both papers were worth 180 marks each, which means that the entire paper was worth 360 marks.

As per the schedule shared by the IIT Madras, the JEE Advanced Provisional Answer Key will be displayed on the official website on 2 June 2024. This provisional answer key and response sheet will help the students calculate their scores and get an estimated idea.

JEE Advanced 2024 Paper Analysis:

According to the students’ feedback, the difficulty levels for Paper I and Paper II were the same; that is, both papers were difficult. However, some students faced more difficulty solving Paper I. Let’s find out the difficulty level of the papers according to ALLEN Overseas Experts.

Physics Paper Analysis:

Paper I and Paper II of Physics were moderate to difficult in the difficulty level. Questions from each unit were asked in both papers. Overall, the Physics section was well structured, containing a mix of hard and easy questions.

Paper I:

Of the 100%, 53% of questions were asked from Class XI Physics and 47% from Class XII. 64% of the question papers were moderately difficult, while around 17% (each) of the Physics section was considered easy and difficult.

Paper II:

Of the 100%, 41% of questions were asked from Class XI Physics and 59% from Class XII. 47% of the question papers were difficult, while around 41% of the Physics section was considered of moderate level and 11% questions were easy.

Chemistry Paper Analysis:

Papers I and II of Chemistry were easy to moderate in difficulty. Questions from Organic Chemistry have a higher weightage than the other two. Overall, the Physics section was well structured scoring.

Of the 100%, 76% of questions were asked from Class XI Chemistry and 24% from Class XII. 59% of the question papers were moderately difficult, while around 29% were difficult and 12% were easy.

Mathematics Paper Analysis:

Papers I and II of Mathematics were easy to moderate in difficulty. Questions from Organic Chemistry have a higher weightage than the other two. Overall, the Physics section had well-structured scoring.

In mathematics Paper I, 53% of the questions were asked by Class XII Mathematics and 47% by Class XI. 71% of the question papers were moderately difficult, while around 29% were a mix of easy and difficult level.
