JEE Main 2024 (Session-1) Admit Card Released

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has now released the JEE Main 2024 (Session-1) Admit Card.

As per the earlier schedule, the JEE Main 2024 Session 1 examination was to be conducted between 24th January to 1st February 2024. However, as per the new notice, the B.Arch/B. Planning examination will be held on 24th January, after which the BE-B.Tech examinations will take place on 27th, 29th, 30th, 31st January, and 1st February. It’s important to note that there will be no JEE-Main 2024 examination on January 25th, 26th, and 28th.

This exam is the first session of the JEE Main 2024, which offers multiple opportunities for candidates to secure a good score.

How to Download the JEE Main 2024 Session-1 Admit Cards?

Downloading your JEE Main 2024 (Session-1) admit card is a crucial step, as it is your ticket to the examination hall. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to download it:

  1. Go to the official NTA JEE Main website (www.jeemain.nta.ac.in).
  2. On the home page, click on the link: “JEE Main Session 1 Admit Card”.
  3. You will be redirected to a new page. Enter your login credentials (Application No & Date of Birth) and submit.
  4. Your JEE Main admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  5. Download and take a print out of your Admit Card for future reference.
  6. Double-check all the details on the admit card, including your name, roll number, photograph, and examination centre.

Documents Required on the Exam Day:

JEE Main 2024 aspirants appearing for the exam must carry the below-mentioned items along with them on the exam day:

  • Photograph: Make sure to carry at least two to three passport-size photographs that were uploaded during the JEE Main 2024 registration process.
  • Self-attested JEE Main 2024 admit card: A signed printout of the JEE Main admit card 2024 is mandatory for entry and to take the exam.
  • Photo ID: Carry a valid photo ID proof (original) to the exam centre. You may carry one of these: an Aadhaar card, PAN card, or driving license.
  • Ball pen: A transparent black ballpoint pen.
  • Water bottle: A transparent water bottle can be carried along to the JEE Main exam centre.
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable): If you have a disability and require any special arrangements during the exam.
  • A transparent plastic pouch: Carry your stationery items in a clear, transparent pouch to make security checks quicker and easier.

Last Day JEE Mains 2024 (Session-1)- Exam Tips:

Preparation is key to success in any examination. Here are some essential tips to keep in mind on your exam day:

  • Make sure to reach the Exam Centre at least 60 minutes before the exam starts.
  • Remember to bring your JEE Main 2024 Admit Card and one valid ID proof to the exam. Also, bring blue or black pens, pencils, erasers, and other necessary stationery.
  • Allocate 1 hour for each subject to cover all topics. Begin with the subject in which you are best.
  • Don’t get panic. Stay calm and composed.
  • Carry a wristwatch with you.
  • Do not bring any study material with you to the exam centre.
  • Read the instructions on the question paper carefully.
