NTA Issues Clarification On NEET Question Papers in Regional Language

Ahead of NEET- UG 2023, which is scheduled to be conducted on 7th May 2023, National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an official notification on 19th April 2023 to clarify the doubts about appearing students in regards to the medium of the paper.

The notice highlights the clarification on Clause 3.5.3 and 3.5.6 of the Information Bulletin for NEET-UG 2023, re-interpreted that the students who have opted for English as the medium of instruction will be provided with the test booklet in English medium, whereas for who had opted for any other language, including Hindi; the provided test book would be bilingual- English & the chosen language.

Students must also take note that the regional medium is available only in the specific regional centre.

The notice further stated that the provided booklet for NEET UG 2023 would be colour coded for each language. Test Booklets having English and Hindi medium would be white in colours, Urdu in green and regional languages in yellow colour.

The NEET- UG 2023 will be conducted in about 499 cities, including 14 cities outside India, on the aforementioned date between  02:00 P.M. to 05:20 P.M. (Indian Standard Time) via Offline/ Pen & Paper mode.
