The National Testing Agency (NTA) started the registration for JEE Main 2024 (Session-2) on 2nd February 2024.

Each year, numerous young minds in India aspire to pursue a career in engineering, and the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) serves as their gateway to fulfilling that dream. The NTA conducts the JEE Main, which is regarded as one of the most prestigious engineering entrance exams in the country.

Students who wish to apply for the JEE Main Session 2 exam can visit the official website and register themselves for the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 exam. Below, we are sharing all the details which are important for students from the exam point of view.

How to Register for JEE Main 2024 (Session 2)?

To apply for the NTA JEE exam for 2024 Session 2, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official website at jeemain.nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the “JEE Mains Exam 2024 Session 2 Registration” link in the latest news section.
  3. Register yourself.
  4. Fill out the application form and pay the fees.
  5. Once you’ve completed the form, click on “submit” and download a copy of the form.
  6. Keep a hard copy for your records.

Note: The above registration steps are for the students who hadn’t registered for session 1. Students who registered themselves in session 1 need not follow the above steps. They can directly log in with their application number and password.

Who is Eligible for JEE Main 2024 (Session-2)?

Before you begin your JEE Main 2024 application, ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria:

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for candidates applying for JEE Main 2024. However, you must have passed the 10+2 examination in 2021, 2022 or will be appearing in 2023.
  • Educational Qualification: You must have completed your 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects.
  • Number of Attempts: You can appear for JEE Main for a maximum of three consecutive years.
  • State Eligibility: It’s essential to check the eligibility criteria of the respective State Code of Eligibility, as some states have specific requirements for admission.
