NEET-UG 2023 Paper Analysis:

The 3 hr and 20 minutes long paper was a highly anticipated and decisive examination for all the students planning to pursue their higher studies in various fields of medicine. As the name suggests, the exam, often known as pre-med, is the eligibility criteria for admissions in various medical courses in India, including MBBS, BDS, BHMS, etc.

The exam evaluates the understanding of the students in three disciplines- Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology). Every year lakhs of students appear for the exam. This year over 20 Lakh students registered for the exam. It is assumed that NEET UG 2023 witnessed 90% of the registered students appearing.

The question paper of NEET UG 2023 consisted of a total of 200 questions in MCQ format. Out of them, the students were required to answer 180 questions, each carrying four marks. The maximum mark for NEET UG 2023 is 720.
