NEET-UG 2023 Result Announced: Check Yours Now!

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has finally released the NEET-UG 2023 Result on 13 June, 2023. The exam was conducted at 499 cities throughout the country and 14 cities outside India on 07 May 2023, Sunday.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET-UG is an all-India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue an undergraduate. As the name suggests, the exam acts as eligibility as well as an entrance for admissions to various medical courses across the nation.

The exam witnessed over 20 Lakh students, an all-time high, participating in the exam and competing for around 1,06,333 MBBS seats and other medical courses like BDS, BSc. Nursing, etc, across India.

NTA announced NEET-UG 2023 result in a notification dated 13 June, 2023 on its official website, i.e. www.neet.nta.nic.in.

As per the official notification, the passing marks for NEET UG 2023 are as follow:

How to Download Your NEET-UG 2023 Score Card?

  1. Visit the official website of NTA, i.e, www.neet.nta.nic.in.
  2. Tap on the NEET UG 2023 Score Card Link available on the home screen.
  3. Enter the Application Number, date of birth & security pin on the Website.
  4. The page shows your marks and qualification status as well.
  5. Download the Scorecard to use it further in the counselling process.

What’s Next After NEET-UG 2023 Results?

After the announcement of NEET-UG 2023 results, the qualified student is then required to participate in the counselling sessions by the concerned statutory bodies for admissions to various medical courses across various medical institutions in India.

Guiding the students about the same, the NEET-UG 2023 Information Bulleting states:

The Counselling for successful candidates for Seats under 15% All India Quota and 100%, including 85% State quota seats of Central Institutions / Central Universities (including DU/ BHU /AMU)/ AIIMS/ JIPMER and Deemed Universities, will be conducted by the MCC/DGHS for Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses. MCC only does the registration for AFMC and forwards the data of registered Candidates to AFMC Authorities for the admission process. DU/BHU and other Universities may use the score for any other relevant courses being offered by them.
The result data may also be utilised for B.Sc. (H) Nursing courses in accordance with their respective eligibility criteria / other norms /applicable regulations/guidelines/ rules. The NEET (UG) – 2023 data will also be used for admissions to BVSc & AH courses under the 15% quota of VCI in recognised Veterinary Colleges. However, the Council has to approach the MCC of DGHS, MoHFW in order to obtain the said data of results.
MNS (Military Nursing Services) aspirants seeking admission to BSc Nursing Course being conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2023 are required to qualify NEET, and the NEET score will be used for shortlisting for selection to the four-year BSc Nursing course.
AACCC (Ayush Admissions Central Counselling Committee), M/o Ayush shall be the counselling authority for AIQ with respect to BAMS, BUMS and BSMS courses under NCISM and BHMS under NCH.
