JEE Advanced 2023: Check Eligibility | Exam | Result | Registration Dates

The announcement all the engineering aspirants have been waiting for has finally been released. IIT Guwahati – the conducting body of JEE Advanced 2023, announced the registration dates, exam dates and information bulletin for the exam. As per the official notification, registrations for the JEE Advanced 2023 will begin on April 30th, 2023 and ends on May 7th, 2023. The JEE Advanced 2023 exam will be conducted on June 4th, 2023, in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. Registrations form will be released online on its official website, www.jeeadv.ac.in.

The registrations for JEE Advanced 2023 will begin on April 30th, 2023, at 10 AM IST and conclude on May 7th, 2023, at 5 PM IST. Eligible candidates who wish to appear for the exam must fill out the registration form online from the official website www.jeeadv.ac.in. The last date for fee payment is May 8th, 2023, 5 PM IST.

How to fill the JEE Advanced 2023 Registration Form?

Follow the steps to fill the Registration Form:

Step 1: Visit the official website www.jeeadv.ac.in.

Step 2: Log in to the JEE Advanced 2023 registration portal using your JEE Main 2023 roll number and password.

Step 3: Fill out the registration form and choose the exam centres.

Step 4: Upload the required documents.

Step 5: Pay the registration fee online.

Step 6: Submit your application and take a printout for future reference.

JEE Advanced 2023 exam will be conducted on June 4th, 2023, in CBT (Computer Based Test) mode. The JEE Advanced 2023 Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 Noon IST, and Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM IST. The exam duration will be 3 hours for each paper, and candidates must appear for both papers to qualify for JEE Advanced 2023.

JEE Advanced 2023 Result:

JEE Advanced 2023 result will be declared on June 18th, 2023. Category-wise All India Rank (AIR) of qualified candidates will be prepared based on students’ scores and made available online on its official web portal after the result declaration. Text messages will also be sent to candidates’ registered mobile numbers.

JEE Advanced 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must fulfil the prescribed eligibility criteria to appear for JEE Advanced 2023. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper of JEE (Main) 2023.
• Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1998. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e. these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1993.
• A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
• A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2022 or 2023 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates who had appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examinations for the first time in 2021 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2023, irrespective of the combination of subjects attempted/offered.
• However, if the examination Board of Class XII (or equivalent) declared the results for the academic year 2020-21 on or after October 25, 2021, then the candidates are also eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2023, provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria.
• A candidate should NOT have been admitted to an IIT irrespective of whether or not the candidate continued in the program OR accepted an IIT seat by reporting “online” / at a “reporting centre” in the past. Candidates whose admission to IITs was cancelled (for whatever reason) after joining any IIT are also NOT eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2023.

About JEE Advanced 2023:

JEE Advanced is the final step and only entrance exam that allows engineering aspirants to gain admission in undergraduate courses leading to a bachelor’s, Integrated master’s, Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Science, or Architecture programs in various IITs across the country. Around the top 2.5 lakhs, JEE Main qualified candidates are allowed to appear for this exam every year.

The exam is conducted by any one of the 7 IITs, namely IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee or Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, under the supervision of the Joint Admission Board (JAB). The decisions of JAB 2023 will be final in all matters related to JEE (Advanced) 2023 and admission to IITs in the academic year 2023-24.
